Birthday Wish

2005 has been good to me. I'm a strong believer that if you want something bad enough, the universe will conspire with you to have it.

Today's my birthday. I am 23. Ever since I was a young child, I haven't asked for a whole lot for my birthdays. In fact, for the past few years, my birthday has been pretty low-key. However, this time around, I'm going to make a request. For the past six years, I've been dreaming of going to Antarctica. The expedition has fallen through twice in the past due to funding, but this time I'm going all out and shooting to be there in December 2005.

If it was my birthday and you saw me in a bar, perhaps you'd buy me a drink, or a card, or something. ... At least, I hope so. If you would spank me instead that'd be pretty cool too I suppose. But instead of a drink, a card, a something, or a spank, it would be greatly appreciated if people could contribute to my Antarctic expedition fund.
